Warranty FAQs

1. What does my techtron warranty cover?

Your techtron product is protected against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. Coverage depends on the product:

 

  • Helmets (shell/structure): 24 months
  • Electronics (batteries, controllers, displays, sensors, Bluetooth, lights): 12 months
  • Frames (e-bikes, scooters, dirt bikes): up to 24 months
  • Wear items (tyres, pads, grips, chains, decals, etc.): not covered under warranty

2. What isn’t covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover:

 

  • Normal wear and tear (tyres, pads, grips, chains, stickers, cosmetic scratches).
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or water immersion.
  • Damage caused by third-party chargers, modifications, or tampering.
  • Products used for competition, rental, or commercial purposes (unless stated in writing).
  • Product return costs.

3. How do I make a warranty claim?

It’s simple:

 

  1. Contact techtron Support by email; customerservices@techtron.co
  2. Provide your proof of purchase and product serial number.
  3. Describe the issue and, if possible, attach photos or a short video.
  4. Our support team will confirm if your issue is covered.

4. Do I need to send my product back?

In most cases, yes. If your claim is approved, we’ll send you:

 

  • A return address and packaging instructions (batteries must be handled safely).
  • Instructions on collection payment methods, or guidance on self return.

 

Our service team will then inspect the product to confirm the issue.

5. What happens after inspection?

Depending on the outcome, techtron will:

 

  • Repair the product free of charge, or
  • Replace the product with a new/refurbished unit if repair is not possible.

 

If the issue is not covered under warranty, we’ll share a full report and offer you a paid repair/replacement option.

6. How long does the warranty process take?

  • From the time we receive your product, inspection usually takes 5–7 working days.
  • Repairs/replacements are normally completed within 10–14 working days (depending on parts availability).

 

We’ll keep you updated at every stage.

7. Is my warranty transferable?

No — techtron warranty applies only to the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase.
